Our History :
1976, it was the year of the Montreal Olympics and two brothers from Ottawa decided to move their truck jobber business to montreal where they rented a small warehouse and soon expanded their business in the Montreal region.
1980, an opportunity to expand the business and re-orient its’ direction arose as one of their suppliers, D.A.McNulty of Toronto, an established national supplier of quality bodyshop tools and equipment went on sale by the owners. It was an opportunity the two brothers did not want to miss and negotiated to buy the business. Hence, Arslan Automotive Canada was incorporated and a building purchased to accomodate the new acquisition.
Soon after, in 1982, the manufacturing of paint strainers was established through a new division, Strain-Tec Mfg. and export sales and marketing efforts were undertaken.
The company manufactures paint strainers, sandblasters, car and wheel maskers, Kant-slip jack units, rustproofing spray equipment, stands for body panels and paint dryers and imports and distributes a large selection of PBE related tools and shop equipment, packaged and branded for distribution.
Today, we can count valued partners in over 33 countries that distribute our quality paint strainers and we serve the Canadian PBE after market through a number of well regarded and established National distributors, buying groups and independent jobbers.
We are proud and thankful to have been a part of our industry for 35 years and look forward to serve our valued partners for the next 35!
